Accessibility

University of Melbourne web sites aim to comply with the WCAG 2.0 Level AA standards.

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines

The Australian Government's Disability Discrimination Act 1992 ensures information and services are provided in a non-discriminatory accessible manner.

In order to ensure that all University of Melbourne audiences can see our content, understand what it means and interact with it via the web, the University follows the internationally recognised, Australian Government endorsed, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0 AA).

Adherence to the corporate brand is one of the key ways of achieving compliance with the Guidelines. All University controlled web sites, applications, templates, content and communications must comply with the WCAG guidelines. This includes services procured from external vendors.
