Our brand design system has been developed to allow specific entities across the University to shape communications and materials specific to individual needs and audiences, while still supporting the integrity of the masterbrand.

The design system must be applied to all communication material produced by the University of Melbourne. Materials that are produced as part of a partnership or sponsorship must also adhere to additional guidelines.

Working with the University’s in-house Design team

A range of branded templates is available which can be adapted to suit your basic corporate and marketing and communications needs.

If you have a more complex design problem, the External Relations in-house Design, Print and Merchandise team offers a no-cost graphic design service for all University of Melbourne branded marketing and communications material.

The design team are experts at applying the University’s brand design system to a range of collateral for entities across the University.

You can brief the team who will then use the University’s brand guidelines to develop artwork specific to your marketing goals, messaging and target market.

The Design team also has access to a range of high quality print services at competitive prices.

Please note, the External Relations Design, Print and Merchandise team undertake work in alignment with the University’s Brand Architecture – utilising the approved design system, including logo guidelines, to develop projects that meet both client and brand requirements. The team does not undertake work for organisations not affiliated with the University of Melbourne and service cannot be offered to sponsors or partners as part of any contra arrangements. For entities that manage their own non-University brand, please contact the Brand team to discuss your requirements and alternative solutions.
