Unless you have an official co-brand or unique identity, all University of Melbourne bodies and entities should use the University of Melbourne logo as their social media profile picture.
Electronic mail outs and digital newsletters
A range of assets to help you create email marketing campaigns, EDMs (Electronic Direct Mail) and digital newsletters is available on the Templates and Downloads page, along with a detailed Style Guide to help you create best practice email communications using the new brand design system.
Official University-owned and operated podcasts should follow the Podcast Guidelines when creating their avatars. The Design team (staff access only) in External Relations offers a free design service for podcast avatars. Contact the Brand team for advice and assistance on using the University brand and logo across your avatars and podcasting platforms.

A range of assets and templates is currently being developed for producers developing videos presented by the University of Melbourne.
Prior to all assets being released, videos should be produced in line with the Brand Guidelines, including fonts, colour palette, patterns, aperture, focus marks and use of the University logo. Note: You can use the video on the home page of the Brand Hub as a reference point.

Videos should use a watermark when appropriate, depending on the channel the video will be posted in and other design elements of the video. A selection of watermarks is available below, along with instructions on preferred position, flexibility and variations.
